After Hours:  The answering service receptionist will receive your call promptly.  Please be prepared to provide your name, a phone number at which you can be contacted and a brief description of the emergency. The receptionist will contact the appropriate on-call doctor. 

Companion Animal Clients: The on-call doctor will return your call at the number you provide to obtain additional information regarding the emergency and will provide further instructions.  All after-hour companion animal emergency services are provided at our Lowville location only. The emergency office call fee ($150) plus any additional fees associated with treatment must be paid at time of services rendered.  A consultation fee of up to $75 may be applied for phone consults at discretion of the on-call doctor. (This fee would be applied towards the emergency office call if the pet needs to be seen subsequent to the conversation)
